As Tricker’s AW16 launch introduced a sophisticated palette of colours to their traditional boot and shoe range, Lewis understood the importance of communicating this subtle innovation on the website via a marketing campaign and photo shoot enhancing the general theme of “Colour”.
The previous set of images produced for Trickers by Lewis had used a monochrome palette which felt sophisticated, classic yet modern. This time we wanted to add energy with bright colours, lighting boldly and from unusual angles to emphasis movement and highlight the new and different soles. Although we shot on a 35mm digital aspect-ratio, the images were art-directed to be elongated into web-friendly banners, but also croppable for social media.
The result is bright, energetic and new, whilst also respecting the heritage of this beautiful and time-less brand.
