We are undoubtably a studio full of foodies (but then who isn’t a foodie these days?). So it isn’t hard to imagine just how excited we were when chef extraordinaire Ottolenghi approached us to create the new Ottolenghi ecommerce website design. As far as fashionable London cuisine is concerned, Ottolenghi is the new national darling of natural, healthy and vital food.
His light, mediterranean cooking style has swept the dinner party tables of the land – even prompting the creation of a new verb “to Ottolengh” to describe the act of preparing one of his recipes. Therefore the site had to be more “digital food temple” than “informative and shop-able site”. But of course, we all know, it really has to be both.
