Our new global site for the wonderfully named luxury perfume brand “Boadicea The Victorious” has just launched. The brand has quickly become a bestseller in Harrods perfume hall and the business is now gaining an international following. One of our key challenges was to visually communicate the essence of each perfume family in a bold and engaging way. Boadiciea’s packaging is imaginative and highly theatrical and we developed the concept of the site as a stage with a single spotlight on each bottle. We therefore made a powerful backdrop of responsive full bleed images, scrolling parallax effects and rich photogpraphy to create a dramatic stage setting for each scent. The effect has been to present a sumptuous and immersive brand experience wrapped around the highly functional Magento platform.
